Reverse Osmosis is a process of water filtration, which passes under high pressure through a membrane in which dissolved substances in the water such as lime scale and heavy metals are removed, allowing only pure water molecules to pass through. The small pores of the membrane even retain micro-organisms, such as bacteria, ensuring that the substances are dissolved and almost completely removed.
